I have just been looking at another discouraging report of the state of homelessness in our own backyards. Did you know that there are over 2,200 women currently homeless in the District of Columbia alone? And with the economy in its current declining state, I can only imagine how many thousands of women will be forced to join the ranks of their homeless sisters in our Nation's capital.
